John Cusick, OFS, recently received certification by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, as a board certified chaplain. Cusick, who ministers at Holy Cross Germantown and Holy Cross Silver Spring Hospitals, said he was inspired by Saint Francis’ outreach to the lepers. “For me, this is the culmination of a seven-year journey. It is a privilege, even in a small way, to carry on the healing ministry of Jesus.”
